One Day for UK 2025 Brings Together Thousands in Support of Students, Programs and Research
In just 24 hours, the University of Kentucky community showed once again what’s wildly possible when Wildcats rally together. UK’s seventh annual 24-hour giving campaign, One Day for UK, saw 2,719 donors make 3,955 gifts totaling $989,369.73 on April 24.

Continuing a “legacy like no other,” late University of Kentucky alum and former trustee Carol Martin “Bill” Gatton bestowed a transformational gift of $100 million to the UK College of Agriculture, Food and Environment through The Bill Gatton Foundation.

For Stanley and Karen Pigman's long-standing support, UK President Eli Capilouto recommended the college be named the Stanley and Karen Pigman College of Engineering, which the UK Board of Trustees approved.
