A Night In A Box is a grass roots movement focused on raising awareness and support for the challenges associated with homelessness. This movement started with a crazy idea of spending a cold winter night on the streets of Wenatchee, WA in December 2012 and has grown into a annual event that enjoys widespread support from all feel called to help our neighbors in need. Our vision is for A Night In A Box to become an annual event in every city.
Here is a video that provides more information on our second event in 2013

Almost 4 years ago I found my self homeless, with 3 children 2 weeks away from giving birth. I was struggling with drug addiction and the thought that my children would be better off without me. The day I gave birth, my world was about to be rocked, and I didn’t even know it. My son lived through a pregnancy that should have killed him, and that same day a bed was available for me at the Grace House, a women’s transitional living home. I was surrounded by people who loved Jesus, I wanted to know what this was, He changed my life! Since then I’ve become an amazing mother, I’ve been able to work full time jobs, and just recently received the position as Executive Director of Real Options, a women’s pregnancy clinic. And in just a couple weeks my kids and I will be moving into a home of our own. This will be my third year sleeping in a box. And I know it’s not my last. Thank you Lighthouse Christian Ministries!
