    How can I participate in "Night in a Box"?

    Become a “Champion” and spend a night in a box with us.

    You can be a key part of raising the awareness of the poor in Downtown Denver and funds for services designed to help and mentor people out of life’s difficult times.

    What does it take to become a Champion?
    1. You first must COMMIT to sleep in a box on December 4, 2009 to raise funds and awareness for the poor.
    2. You must REGISTER on line at http://anightinabox.com/signup or by phone at 303-986-HOPE.
    3. DOWNLOAD the Champion Commitment Form on line at http://anightinabox.com/downloads to help you plan and track your fundraising.
    4. Make your PLAN.
      1. List out those you would like to contact about sponsoring you to sleep in a box.
      2. List them on your champion Commitment sheet.
      3. Set a fund raising goal and a timeline to reach it.
    5. STICK TO IT.
      1. Set aside time to get commitments.
      2. As you get commitments, collect the money as well.
      3. All funds are due before the event night. Don’t wait until after the event to collect the funds.
    6. COLLECT Donations from your sponsors
      1. Instructions about how your sponsors donate are on the Champion Commitment form.
      2. Your sponsors may donate:

      4. ENJOY and have the time of your life doing something for the poor and learning about this community of people as you sleep in a box!!!!!!
      5. Don’t forget to thank those who sponsored you. They had a huge part of making the event a success!

    Be a “Supporter” and donate or pledge toward one or more Champions.

    Give any amount that is on your heart toward the cause.

    Be a “Legacy Giver” by donating monthly to Providence Ministries.

    Help the poor by supporting services and programs designed to mentor and help the poor intentionally and with the love of Jesus Christ.
